What I do..
I design learning and experience systems with a focus on strategy, adaptability, and long-term impact. My work combines instructional design, systems thinking, and user-centered problem solving to create experiences where every part of a project works together intentionally. I believe effective design comes from understanding people, context, and complexity. Then, building solutions that are clear, engaging, scalable, and grounded in real-world application.
Philosophy
I believe strong design comes from understanding how every part of a system connects and influences the overall experience. Whether I am designing instruction, assessments, training systems, or user experiences, I approach projects with a focus on structure, adaptability, and long-term effectiveness. I enjoy thinking through complex problems, identifying how different components interact, and creating solutions where content, assessment, engagement, accessibility, and user needs work together intentionally rather than independently. To me, effective design is not just about creating a single lesson, activity, or interface, but rather, it is about building systems that support meaningful learning and continuous improvement over time, both instructionally, and with regard to the product and the systems that surround it.
My approach to instructional and experience design is highly adaptable because I believe there is no single “correct” way to teach or design. The best approach depends on the subject matter, learner population, context, goals, and specific challenges of a project. Different audiences require different levels of structure, interaction, support, and pacing, and I value designing experiences that respond thoughtfully to those differences. I believe learning is most effective when it is grounded in authentic, real-world application and when learners are given opportunities to revisit, apply, and strengthen their understanding over time through reflection, spiral review, and iterative practice.
My background in education shaped the way I think about systems, communication, and human-centered design. Working in dynamic learning environments taught me the importance of flexibility, clarity, and continuous adjustment based on feedback and outcomes. As I continue expanding into instructional design, UX, and experience systems design, I aim to create experiences that are not only engaging and functional, but also strategic, sustainable, and responsive to the people using them.

The strongest experiences are built through thoughtful systems, rather than isolated solutions.
